賴慶明教授長期從事社會公益貢獻事蹟===========

出身清寒、基於回饋社會、教育使命與USR精神-
賴慶明教授出身於嘉義民雄農村的清寒家庭,自幼由祖父母隔代撫養,曾歷經一段很常三餐不繼的艱困歲月。祖父母在困境中始終教誨他要心懷感恩,並以實際行動回饋社會。這段成長經歷深深影響了他,使他在學術成就之外,亦積極投入社會服務,實踐大學社會責任(USR)的核心價值。

自2019年起,賴慶明教授投入USR長期行動、關懷偏鄉以及原住民族群,至今已持續投入逾五年,秉持「大學應回應社會需求」理念,率領團隊深入偏鄉,從教育扎根、文化保存、科技導入,到偏鄉產業與人才培育,建構跨世代、跨領域的偏鄉共好生態圈。賴慶明教授帶領團隊將教育扎根、文化保存、交通改善、農業升級與科技創新融合,並善用中央原民會、台中市原民會、文化部、交通部與社會企業資源,打造了一個兼具人文厚度、科技應用與永續發展的偏鄉(原鄉)共好生態圈。

在教育方面,他與台達電子(王志賢處長)合作,協助仁愛鄉互助國小全校更換LED照明,大大地改善了校園學習環境;推動「綠能再生課程:檸檬小雞玩科學」、「STEM機器人教學」等科普活動,培育偏鄉學童科學素養;並與曉明女中建立「大學生 × 高中生 × 學童」三方共學模式,培養跨世代志工能量,成果多次於USR跨校共學論壇分享。

在文化保存與社區營造上,他推動中原部落傳統家屋修繕,強化族群文化傳承、與順益台灣原民博物館合作台灣原住民海報雙年展(2019第八屆、2021第九屆、2023第十屆、2025第十一屆),並捐款資助設立中興惠蓀特別獎、積極促進族群合作與包容;與麗明營造(吳春山董事長)合作,協助清流部落「賽德克族餘生紀念館」規劃無障礙友善環境,落實文化平權。與台達電子(王志賢處長)合作建置「清流橋照明工程」與太陽能光儲節能設施,提升部落生活安全並實踐文化平權;與仁愛鄉、東岸部落產業促進發展協會理事長王嘉勳合作活化埔里實驗林,結合「前店後場原民直販所」與「幸福巴士2.0」,兼顧生態教育、產業展售與觀光旅運服務。

在產業創新上,他執行「臺中市原民智慧運銷系統發展計畫」,整合中央原民會、台中市原民會與文化部資源,協助和平區元原住民農友成立「有限責任臺中市原農共同運銷合作社」,建立三方平台,保障收益並強化品牌。同時開發全台首部「部落電動車冷鏈物流系統」,以零排放車輛解決農產保鮮與運銷困境,並輔導原民企業研發智慧化綠能自駕割草機。

此外,在2023年卡努颱風重創仁愛鄉時,他率領USR團隊第一時間送物資並協助部落回復,目前正積極導入無人機系統進行防災與預警。
多年來,他榮獲《遠見》大學社會責任在地共融楷模獎、入選資誠永續影響力獎,以及多項校內外社會服務殊榮。
賴慶明教授不僅守護部落教育與文化,更結合各界資源以科技與產業創新推動偏鄉永續,成為USR落實在地的典範。

自2019年起,賴慶明教授便以個人名義長期捐資支持清流、中原、眉原等部落社區,協助推動在地文化保存與社區活動發展,其中亦包括中原部落巴蘭園區的使用經費。此舉不僅展現學者關懷社會的實踐,更促進了部落永續經營與跨世代傳承。
更進一步地,自2024年起,賴慶明教授將捐資(助)擴及南投縣立仁愛國中,該校位於賽德克族舊部落,是一所僅有數十名學生的小型偏鄉學校,資源匱乏。
賴慶明教授希望藉由持續的資源投入,扶助弱勢原住民族群,並鼓勵原民青年突破困境、追求成長。
